This study examines Indonesian upper-secondary students’ preferences for Post-School Pedagogy (PSP) in response to the growing influence of artificial intelligence on education. Drawing on survey data from 827 Grade 11 and 12 students across 19 provinces, the study explores student readiness for dialogic learning, co-agency, community-connected projects, authentic evidence, and ethical AI use. The findings indicate a strong overall preference for PSP, with only modest differences across regions and demographic groups, suggesting that most variation lies at the individual level rather than provincial context. These results demonstrate that students are broadly prepared for more interactive, agency-driven, and ethically informed learning environments, supporting a national shift toward PSP-oriented pedagogical models, particularly through strengthened teacher capacity and targeted support for underserved regions.
