This research, in collaboration with a Senior Lecturer from UiTM, Malaysia, as well as chemistry education students and other related programs in science teaching, marks the first phase of a multi-year project to develop and implement a 360° video-integrated VirLab model for chemistry learning. The focus of this phase is to design and test a prototype that integrates 360° video into VirLab, improving project-based learning while addressing challenges in traditional labs, such as resource limitations and safety. Teachers from selected schools will be trained to create 360° video content for chemistry lessons, which will be tested in blended learning environments. Data from pilot testing will be used to evaluate the prototype’s effectiveness in enhancing student engagement and understanding, with the goal of refining the model for broader implementation.
